Working on a house that’s already standing

An addition or remodel isn’t the same as new construction. The house is already there, often with your family living in it, and the new framing has to meet old framing that is rarely perfectly square. We plan how the new work ties into the old before we start, and we keep you in the loop on the schedule.

Framing and the outside, one crew

Most additions end at the siding. Since we do both trades, the crew that frames the addition also wraps it, flashes it, and puts the siding and trim on. You don’t need a second contractor to finish the outside.

What’s behind the walls

Opening up an older house sometimes turns up rot or old water damage. When it does, we tell you what we found and fix it before it gets covered back up. Our rot repair page explains how we handle it.
